| TEAMS
Forming a team is a great way to encourage family and friends to participate in the ASCV 5K Run/Walk. Many families form teams to honor their loved ones with autism, while others form a group based on a place of work, club or civic organization. Over 50 teams participated last year and we are looking forward to new teams joining us this year. The easiest way to form a team is by registering online via this link www.firstgiving.com/asacv5k. You will be guided through the process as you register.
The person who would like to be the team captain should register first and provide team name when prompted. Then, let your friends and family know that your team has been formed! When your friends and family register, they will be asked if they are joining a team and will be automatically linked and added to your roster. It's that easy!
When a new person joins your team, any fundraising they do online will also be added to your team total.
If teammates want to register via the mail in form, please be sure that they provide your team name. We will add them to your team in our records, but unfortunately, we can not add them to the group online. For this reason, we highly encourage team members to register online if possible.

of large teams (25 or more registrants) will be permitted
to pick up their team bib numbers and tshirts in bulk on Friday, May 25th between 10 and 11 am. If you do chose to pick up your team bib numbers and tshirts, you must have a list of all teammates with you and have notified your team that you are picking up for them. More details on packet pickup will be sent

Many teams designate themselves with special tshirts, hats, or signs.
Your team may walk with a sign or banner, provided you are mindful of the runners and yield to the other participants. Please do not block the way of the returning runners on the race course.
Team captains are asked to drop off an item, such as the team shirt, to the fundraising/donation table on the morning of the race for a special Team Display. |
